Windsor knot looks better with ties that are of super thin material because nothing looks worse than a teeny tiny four-in-hand on a normal width tie. Then again, if your ties are that lacking in material, it might be time to invest in some better ties. I have a variety of ties, some cheap and some very nice, and the nice ties almost always have big knots even with a four-in-hand.

than the windsor knot? I doubt it. Come one guys, virtually no one that actually attended a top boarding school or an ivy league college actually ties a windsor knot! If so, they must have been sons of military men or scholarship kids.

It does not matter that the some half witted Duke invented it, there is nothing that says "middle class" as loudly as the windsor knot. Go take a look at the Wall Street boys as they walk out of Morgan Stanley or Goldman. I will give you a dollar for every windsor and you give me a buck for every big boy knot and i will get rich.

Now that is a funny post. Especially when used to dig this slap and tickle fight up from 8 months ago.

I haven't heard that much pretension since the last bad 80's movie I watched. I hope I at least get to have a training montage before our final skiing contest. You know the one where if I win I prevent your dad from turning our rec center into luxury condominiums?
