Most effective way to air out clothing?

when smoke, coffee, other odors cling to your jackets, jeans, shirts, etc...

i was thinkin havin one of those metal clothing racks just sit in my room and hang stuff i wanna air out on there for like a day or two...

what are your guys' methods? if any...

best method is air+sun. turn your jeans inside out and hang them outside on a sunny day. One day every couple weeks should be more than plenty

However, some denimwhores think the sun fades denim. I dont think so, since we are out in the sun all the time and its not fading from that. Up to you.
