Hey Guys,

Up for sale is a beautiful pair of Mister Freedom Okinawa Topsiders in sugarcane fiber raw denim in size 38.

I've got the auction listing up on Ebay (http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Mister-Freed...-Sugarcane-raw-denim-jeans-MFSC-/271953799280) starting at $20 auction until Saturday August 15, 2015 at ~noon central, but will sell straight up today for $200 USD + shipping. I can only ship to USA and Canada though (Note: I'm in Canada). Shipping to USA is $25 USD or to Canada for $15 USD). Don't ask me to lower the value for customs or anything like that.

Product info from Mister Freedom's website :

PATTERN: Adapted from an original pair of WW2 US Navy denim dungarees.

FABRIC: "Okinawa" SC401, unsanforized 10 Oz. left-hand twill indigo denim, 50% cotton 50% sugar cane fibers, solid white Selvedge ID, milled in Japan.

The "Okinawa Topsiders" are made in Japan as a collaboration between Mister Freedom® and Sugarcane Co.

SPECS:
  • * Roomy straight leg.
  • * Wrap-leg construction, no side seams.
  • * Button fly, white corozo (vegetable ivory nut) top and fly buttons.
  • * Selvedge waistband.
  • * Selvedge concealed ‘crotch gusset’.
  • * Two functioning rounded bottom front patch pockets, two deep rounded bottom rear back pockets.
  • * Adjustable back cinch strap.
  • * Skinny belt-loops for 2” wide belts
  • * Flat felled seam construction for seat and inseam.
  • * 100% cotton tonal stitching.
  • * Customizable mfsc white woven label.

IMPORTANT INFO: This pair has been washed and worn several times, so I don't imagine you will get any more shrinkage. Note that this fabric has an amazing rough texture to it. It's very 'hairy' and unique! However, because of this and the fact that I chose to wear them turned up at the cuff rather than having them hemmed, there is some abrasion/wear showing at that point, about 2.75 inches up from the bottom of both legs. It does not go all the way through, and in fact you probably wouldn't even notice from the 'inside'. See the photos for details. If you are planning the wear them cuffed up, or get them hemmed I can't imagine it being an issue. If you have long legs though and want to wear them straight out to the full 32 inch inseam, I'd recommend you pass on this sale if that will bother you in any way. I can't accept returns - all the info is here, but ask before you buy if you have any concerns!

You can read more about these pants on Mister Freedom's website or on Christophe Loiron's blog posting.

I have taken photos along with a measuring tape to help you gauge the sizing, or refer to Mister Freedom's web page for more insight.

These are great pants, with an excellent fit and feel to them. I'm only selling because they are too large and I've purchased a smaller size since buying these!

Mister Freedom sells these for $439.95 (USD). Get a great deal and buy mine!
