Thanks.

The Zegna shirts look amazing, but they are beyond my budget and the Canali shirts are closer, but I think I can do better with Luxire especially since they have nice cotton-linen fabrics and I have dialed in my fit with them.
Canali has a great line of linen shirts this season. They are basically casual but slim enough to be used as dress shirts. Just got a nice one from MyTheresa. Affordable Italian stuff.

Lardini also another good option.

was considering selling this suit for a long time because i figured it was too big, but I wasn't able to get any buyers, and looking back on the pictures now, I have to wonder if the fit is really so bad, the proportions and drape seem about right, save for the shoulders being too wide in proportion to my neck, but that's more a problem with my neck being too thin.
If anything, the trousers might be the biggest dealbreaker, as the hem is way too short and there's not much i can let out. Is it possibly worth keeping, especially for when I hopefully bulk up?

Not a terrible fit, as I see. Yes, the shoulders are a bit extended and the trousers a tad too short, but the balance isn't off. Front and back of the jacket look clean.

Inspired to add some more linen to CM workwear. Found this brand at MrP and ordered one in light blue. Very good price.

Thoughts on the city moc? Other alternatives. I guess Paraboot comes to mind.

What would you be hoping to wear them with?
For me, these just occupy a weird space. Saman Amel seems to style them with trousers, but to me the moc details don't make sense in that context.
I can't imagine a situation/outfit where I wouldn't prefer to wear either some kind of loafer/slip-on or a more traditional mocassin-type shoe

Seems like an easy pair to throw on any outfit from pants to shorts. I’m gravitating towards taupe. I think the suede makes it particularly inconspicuous. What traditional moccasins do you have in mind? As mentioned paraboot offerings seem to be another good alternative especially considering their collabs @K. Nights

Summer wear only? Personally would only do black suede boot (but then definitely not shorts or summer wear in general)

Didn't realize there was a taupe version, I like that color a lot more. I think I just dislike how Saman Amel styles them.
I was thinking of Rancourt, Oak Street Bootmakers, Yuketen, as the more traditional makers.

Those are pretty meh to me. I don't really view Camp Mocs as dressy, so unsure if your intent is to have them pull double duty between casual and formal-er leaning outfits? If so, I'd for sure go elsewhere/look for loafers.
If strictly more casual stuff, I think it's great and easy to wear/pair

Yes summer
perhaps winter too unless under the most horrible of weathers

And fwiw I like the shape a lot more compared to say offerings from Stoffa at initial impressions.

Primarily casual. I guess as an alternative to Alden loafers. @ericgereghty
