"Anger most harms the person who feels it." - Dalai Lama

I saw the Dalai Lama live once. He gave a speech I attended.

He visited the temple I attended in NM when I was little. He told me that I was the thirstiest boy he'd ever met. I think I drank like 12 cups of tea while he was there, but I didn't know he saw me. Evidently he was paying attention. And I love tea.

According to Chinese experts, it's extremely unwise for Obama to meet with the seperatist and terrorist, the Dalai Lama. Meeting with the Dalai Lama is not productive, the US should instead focus on meeting with Chinese leaders. Additionally, all statements made by the Dalai Lama about the quality of life of native Tibetans are contrary to the facts, and harmful to Sino-US relations.

According to Chinese experts, as long as I do not engage in any counter-revolutionary activities, or attempt to subvert the rule of the party, I need not worry.

His name was Norbu and he lived in Bloomington, Indiana (where IU is). I thought he had died a few years ago, though. I could be wrong.

Perhaps because it wasn't called for in the script.

I don't believe most of this type of stuff on the radio. I was at a party one time and there were a few local radio people there and after they were a little drunk they told me that most of it's fake.

You're right, he was an IU professor and as I recall, he died last year. He owned a Tibetan restaurant in Bloomington called the Snow Lion. The restaurant is still there, and pretty good.
