Found these loafers on mfpen site, looking to ID:
Detail view:
Unlike moc styles like Vinny's Yardee or Bass Weejuns, which have a boxy construction where the sides come straight up vertically and join the vamp at ~right angles, these have a somewhat inset vamp with a noticeably smaller circumference than the sole. How would you describe this design choice in shoes?
Other details include beef rolls and a light colored outer sole, probably leather.
I did email mfpen about this, and they just said they're Vinny's, but I can't find a model that fits exactly. The Townees have the most similar looking vamp but don't have the beefroll strap stitching, the Vinnees soles look too chunky and have a triangular penny slot, and the Yardees mentioned above have a different mocc style sitching.
Yardee
Vinnee
Townee
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
