The belted DRs in this thread mostly suck, but that doesn't mean belts always suck, IMO. Belts look good on certain jackets. It just so happens that the more rugged, slightly vintage/ retro styles are poorly represented on SF.

Poor photo, but the fit's exactly what I was aiming for. (Photo taken on a leaning mirror, so take that distortion into consideration.) Overlaps very slightly with the upper edge of my jeans. Arms hit right where I want as well. Props to @smartie-pants for the sizing input.

The leather is a medium weight. Wearable and pliable, but still feels substantial in weight and thickness. It should hold up well to the coming season. In that sense, it's definitely something I can wear outside for long periods without being too cumbersome if I leave it on indoors. The lining is a diamond quilt, and there are two interior pockets, one zipped.

In terms of details, I'm loving the grain, and the jacket would feel lost without the belt and epaulets. Those were my main concerns, as I lean minimal 99% of the time. The design really is cohesive in this piece, so I'm quite satisfied.

Yep, 36" chest. Weight's usually in the range of 145-150, but it's been a couple months since I last checked.

Hmm okay. My chest is just barely 36" but I'm also 135 so I'm still xs in most stuff was just sort of wondering how id fit in an s or xs theoretically. Thanks!!
