I'd imagine that the ultra traditional one would be DB 6 on 2 in blue worsted serge, with side vents. Where does one go about getting such an item at a reasonable price.

(Despite the thread title, you mentioned the blazer. I hope this won't be construed as hijacking the thread.)

Not to continue the hijack or anything, but I have one of these (DB navy blazer) from the Paul Stuart sale that I will be posting here, probably this coming weekend.

I picked up a pair of Incotex Sartoriale from Ed a while ago. They're a light khaki color flat fronts with the buttons for braces and fish tail back. I think they're a size 33 or 34. They're brand new, but I think the Incotex tags were snipped out. They are unworn with the basting thread still on the pockets. I did have them hemmed, however. I forgot what the inseam is, but I would guess between a 30"-31," but the hem is a good 2.5. They're awesome pants and very well made. Since I don't plan on wearing them to work (and that pretty much limits me since I wear jeans on weekends for the most part), it is better off to someone who would use them more frequently. One of these days I'll stick them on the B&S Forum, but I haven't gotten around to taking pics (I would steal Eds, but I can't find the original thread, and I'm sure the hosting service has taken the pics down anyway). I can't remember what I paid, but I know, since these were the Sartoriale line, they cost a bit more.

If the OP is interested (or anyone else for that matter), $150 shipped in U.S., _ $10 int'l.
