If the new Honda/Acura NSX looks as good as this GT race car (which apparently uses the chassis developed for the next NSX), I could almost forgive Honda's choice of putting the engine in front:

No word on whether that will be the case, but more info here:

It uses a 500+ HP 3.4L V8 mounted front-mid-engined. A road-going version will almost certainly have a different capacity engine.

It also makes the Lexus LF-A look like it was styled by a blind man with arthritis.

That is a great looking design.

The V8, regardless of displacement, would be a more viable option than the V10 imho (potential for reduced vibration/smoother operation/longer life than an equivalent V10).

I have never signed up for a list to petition a manufacturer to support a car, however, I would make an exception for the automobile shown above.

My first thought was LOTUS.
Looks good, looks like a sports car from Europe.

Sure, but at least the LF-A is getting produced and is pretty much a shoo-in to sell out its numbers. Props to Lexus/Toyota for going ahead with it. If Honda was actually earmarking this for production it will probably look nowhere near as aggressive or interesting (and possibly downright ugly if they brand it as an Acura....at least the front end).
