Thanks, man! Yeah it's a Hudson. The amount and type of tailoring I did makes it so I probably won't buy OTR SuSu in the future but this and one other Havana jacket worked out ok. SuSu trousers are a lost cause.

Know that feel. They're probably the best RTW option but I have to do a lot of tailoring as well. They hang off me like a bag OTR and the sleeves are basically at my knuckles.

While it is true that their suit trousers are not amazing, their Brentwood odd trousers have a decent rise and drape pretty nicely.

Excellent job including the urinal in the pictures. This is always a good thing, and do not let anyone sway you otherwise. You also get bonus points if it is in use behind you. Your outfit itself is solid, but some individual pieces are letting you down. The tie is very dated, so when next you are looking to purchase a tie, you might at a burgundy to replace that one. I'm not a shoe person, but unless you've got very wide feet, those shoes look unnecessarily blocky. I'm also not a watch person, but I love Movados (I have three of their museum watches).

What pants did you wear with this? The saturated denim shirt look is one that is difficult to make work, and that pants, for whatever reason, are an important part of the equation.

I agree with sugarbutch: with jackets as loud as those, solid shirts would be the way to go. In addition, you might consider updating your tie selection as both here appear a bit dated.

Thank for the kind? words lol. I don't have a mirror in my office yet so the bathroom is the place. I also don't have a full length mirror in my house. My wifes closet has a semi full length mirror but the lighting sucks.

As to the tie, I am realizing that a lot of my ties are dated. I will have to pick up some new ones. The shoes actually fit really well and aren't blocky in person...they do come across blocky in the picture though...not sure why.

I didn't have time or a proper shot this morning, apologies for lack of quality and pizazz.

I wasn't 100% on the tie with this jacket, what do you guys think and what would you pair it with?

@The Millennial Gentleman

Try asking another person to take your picture.

Nearly always works for me and no one ever knows when it doesn't work since I can't post pictures that aren't taken.

That's rather like the scientific fact that, if your parents never had any children, you won't either.

LOL!

But I feel like asking someone take my picture is odd and pretentious. Especially where I live. A place where people show up to formal events in their best jeans and flannel....

before you ask, I hate where I live.

I used a JCrew Bowery in "salt." Uncreased though. Is this to say that they did or did not work?

Dig the fabric - nice look!

Cheers! I see you're from SA, and I am also originally from there. Although I moved away when young, I return yearly!

It is to say that seeing the outfit all together is necessary to tell if it worked or not!

Maybe that's because, though trending, it is still not something I don't see all the time and so I have a hard time just imagining the likely pants selection.

Maybe a darker solid? Navy or even a reddish-brown to compliment the jacket's windowpane.
