I am in the industry of making money... which unfortunately presents the opportunity 7 days a week. This in turn translates to taking said money and recycling it to my wardrobe. So essentially, I work for clothes.

Thanks MoK - Memorial Day is very much a nautical themed holiday, at least in my neck of the woods - so I thought I would pay homage with an anchor printed tie.

Thanks T! Would have been better with some shorts and a cold beer in my hand poolside though.

Dear Spoo - I was thinking of you while I was drinking a beer wearing my shorts

- while the sudden torrential hurricane-like summer thunderstorm blew through the screens on the back deck, watching the quarter-size hailstones pounding every windowpane of the house forcing us inside.

We had soo much rain in less than an hour, it flooded out the pond and gave the new fruit tree and grape vines a good watering.

The cut of your jacket is quite magnificent. The shoulders are especially subtle. Just perfect. Well done.

I'd suggest a mid-length silk scarf worn under the collar and chest of the jacket or a more interesting, open-necked shirt

In this sort of ensemble, a tie would better harmonise with straight-leg dress trousers
