+1. I'm not crazy about the lapels on that jacket, but I love the fabric.

Maomao, sweet tux. Good thing you dressed to keep up with your companion.

Shawl lapels are a always good idea for hosting dinner parties.

The rest of the get-up is not to my taste, but it has a definite aesthetic coherence -- which however can't be said of the dinner party's venue, as far as the photos show.

Loving the PG, Ktown, Gregaz, NOBD, Vox pics and TFL's chutzpah. Welcome.

Still sunny: post-Vietnamese sandwich and mango tea lunch by the waters...

Nice, you always do so well on the internets. Yellow and grey can be so pleasant together.

? How is that "deformed"? It's as traditional, rule-following as it gets.

Not meant as a critique of MM, but more thinking aloud really . . .

Formal = rigid, lines, uniform, tradition.

Less formal [not deformed but deformalized] = puffy, wabi-sabi, sprezzy, here and now.

I don't know, maybe a looser-ishly tied bowtie would blend better with the shiny-ish fabric and puffy-ish hanky. That or maybe a TV-fold-ish hanky with current outfit.

Feelin' a little "-ishy" today [i.e. bored]; some of this, some of that, and it feels right.
