I had a roommate last year that had similar issues as yourself; he was allergic to milk, chocolate, seafood, nuts, and I can't remember the rest. He ate cereal with apple juice, and he had an inhaler as well. His skin was really red, and his hands/neck wrinkles would always bleed due to excessive dryness and eczema. Eucerin helped, but he had to put on so much every day that he gave up a long time ago. If you looked in his trash can, you'd see a mountain of kleenex on top of his beer cans every time.

I think the cleanest city I have seen is Switzerland and Monaco

It's not necessarily the pollution that causes your kids' problems, and clean places won't necessarily be any better. New Zealand has the highest child asthma rates in the world.

I've seen smog here, but not to the extent of L.A. or anything. It takes a really hot, stagnant day - and you have to view it from across the lake. I think I was up on someone's roof near Newcastle G.C. or on Somerset or something.

VAncouver must be pretty healthy.....right by the Pacific Ocean with a gentle breeze and LOTS of rain....

but that's a long way from NY.
