Well, I grew up listening to her and as much as you may not believe it, my peers think it's crazy for a 24 year-old to be listening to smooth jazz.

I don't consider her to be that genre but damn if that's one of the few radio stations she on. I hate smooth jazz for the record.

I also don't think you get as much street cred for listening to her vs. Nina Simone.

I've never heard any music from No Doubt besides Don't Speak but I enjoy it for some reason.

My parents listened to ABBA all the time when I was a kid... so I can tolerate it a lot more than most people.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. Though, I am still trying to figure out the true identity of The Guy. Ya know, Whodini, you and WB did register on this forum at the same time...

I dunno. I don't really have any guilty pleasures, because if I like a particular group or song, I'm pretty outspoken about it. There are a couple mainstream songs I like, JT's recent singles, Promiscuous, etc.

I guess it would be a guilty pleasure if I actually enjoyed something by the Black Eyed Peas. But I cannot help but think I'm taking crazy pills or something, because to date they have never had a single song that feels somehow compelling, interesting, catchy, or anything of the sort to me. Just garbage!

And Fergie is the pinnacle of all that. Fergalicious makes me want to remove my eyes with a wooden spoon.
