Dear Folks:
Am now preparing the listing for a beautiful silk suit, possibly dupioni. Much handwork, etc.
Label is "Giusti, Piazza Trevi, Roma." Blue on white in a script like the labels on old Brioni neck ties...this suit, too may be from the La Dolce Vita era.
May be a custom job, as it has no sizing info.
Does anyone remember this store?
The only info I can find online is a casual reference in a 1999 NYT story about the touristification of the plaza, which had driven out small, local-oriented stores like Giusti.
Does anyone remember it?
