I love this photograph of the early Foof...collar buttoned down, strangled by largely handmade Oxxford, thin wire frames, on the train to greatness:

What thoughts in that head?

Were there goose pimples?

This Foofification would be truly complete with the addition of a RLBL sock in his mouth.

This jacket is RTW Borrelli (Blazersuited with the MOP buttons, worn here as a blazer). The sleeves are very slim but I think the sleeve pitch and shoulders work well enough to make the slim sleeves acceptable. The fabric is linen, to explain the wrinkles. Does it need any Foofing?

Here's a Michael Bastion suit. I think it's a little too slim overall and the buttoning point may be a little high. Any Foofiing required?

They're both a bit too tight around the hips judging by how the quarters spread apart.

Oops...no pre-Foofing...

That's something I'm aware of on the gray suit but I hadn't noticed on the blue one. I think the low rise of those khaki trousers exaggerates the issue in this case. With the Bastian I'm wearing the full suit and the open quarters with the visible shirt above the belt is my biggest gripe. Again the trousers are very low rise, but the quarters are too open for sure. I like this exercise as both of these jackets fit me as well as anything I own, but there are problems with each - it demonstrates the limits of RTW.

I still really like the Borrelli on you...the shoulders, sleeves, and chest look very fine. Since it is a casual look, it's not worth the fret about the quarters opening too aggressively. The whole look rocks.

Something that can worsen situation with the quarters is a substantial belt and belt buckle, which can act like a little cliff that the quarters have to surmount as they travel downward...even if you don't have a gut.

BTW, I am just keeping the seat warm for Foofy.

Foof, these are mine, and I know that there will be dramatic changes needed due to this topic http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?p=2030283 , you can foof it so that I can visualize what to change? Thanks.

Something that people have pointed out:
  • Collar away from back
  • Close quarter
  • Wide shoulder (my defense is that I have a big head :p, and thus wider shoulder will work)
  • Hideous PS and tie matching

I warned you, be prepared for all of the alterations that are not possible and none of the ones that are.

There will never be enough alteration, but it's more or less like training your eyes

The biggest things I see on the above pic of onix are the back collar falling away and the back having no shape...both mentioned in the other thread. Also skinny...you did submit to having one guy and him alone suggest changes with photoshop. I wonder what foofing there would be done on a Brioni Casino Royale or Tom Ford Quantum of Solace outfit...someone should post a pic.
