go with the cg06. imo, it's more flattering for your frame...

that may very well be true, but i dont like a round shoe. i would never be happy with it at all. it would be a waste of money i think. gotta be the 71 at least.

and how you know bout my frame??

i better not post no more then :embar:

Then we'd have to find ways to locate your house, scope out whatever sort of security systems you have (I assume there's one just for the shoes), hire mercenaries, have them infiltrate the space and take pictures - and you know that the mercs would not have the necessary skills to truly capture the feeling of your russian calf whole cuts. Please, or the love of G, don't take away the lifeline. There's no telling what would happen! For the good of the forum! For the good of Deco! For the good of shoes everywhere!

I love my C&J Drummonds but Rothschilds in DG70 Vintage Chestnut are a another level again. Those shoes would fit my feet so well.

I got UPS confirmation that I'm supposed to recieve 2 pair of MTO shoes from Gaziano & Girling tomorrow. I'm getting the black Oxford on the TG73 last and St James in vintage oak on the TG73 last as well both in a D width. Unfortunately, I recieved an an email from Dean Girling indicating that they ordered the wrong shoe trees and don't have any in stock so it will be another few weeks before I get the lasted trees. Considering this is my maiden voyage into high end shoes, should I wear the shoes without putting in trees when I'm done wearing them? The other option would be to buy a few pair of non lasted trees so at least I'll have some sort of tree in the shoes when I'm done wearing them. Any feedback would be appreciated

Get temporary cedar shoe trees. Good to have if you invite over a guess and make them take their shoes off as well.

Non-lasted trees work perfectly well.
