lastly, i REALLY wanted to DTO that fit above, for this challenge, but i decided it would be more challenging to try and come with something on my own. so i will save the DTO for another day.

i do love that fit.
i do have an AFB type suit, and a white OCBD, and a nice textured black tie, and black DMs. i could defo try and DTO mao maos fit, but i wont. ill do something else for this challenge.

obv. TTO,maomao & HC look good in their respective fits... but I still think all 3 would look even better in exactly the same outfits but with spread collars. It's not that the challenge can't be done well; of course it can. I just think it's not as optimal a look compared to the same outfit with a spread collar shirt. Of course, as FlyingMonkey points out, challenges are more about fun & interesting themes than anything else so I don't say this to be a damp squib to the challenge itself.

yes, the main thing is to try to be challenged, try something new, and push your boundaries, but tbh, i think both TTO and mao maos fits are better with the BD collars, HCs i could see either way.
