Ransom has some this season that i think look pretty good for $140 (CAD). Our Ransom stuff should be here next week, but i'm not sure if we got these pants. I loved the WWM ones, but they were definitely a little too pricey for something i probably wouldn't wear that often.

I want to make a slim fit chino with a flannel lining alongside my slim fit chinos. I don't really think raw or dark denim makes a good flannel lined piece; that flannel (or anything else soft and insulating that you can put in there) will wick your swampass and leg sweat away pretty quickly, and the only thing I can see is dry cleaning those things inside out all the time, which is knd of excessive, considering the marginal amount of warmth a flannel lining will add.

I had some flannel-lined jeans when I lived in Iowa and had to shovel huge snow in the winter. Since moving to warmer climes and living in apartments, I don't find them a necessity anymore. I would say they're mostly good if you plan on spending a lot of time in the cold. Otherwise, indoors, they become almost too warm.

edwin has done them and many others. I have some trousers in from WWM that are flannel lined.
I am sure I will do one with for winter if enough people want some.
I can do it in a chino or duck canvas. I am feeling this duck canvas now. Selvage and non - selvage. comfy as **** once broken in.

Is it possible to go to a fabric store, pick out some flannel, and have a tailor do this for you on an existing pair?
