Hello,

Any Burberry experts on here ?
I see a couple questions about some ties just came up.

I managed to win an auction for a nice bright colour scarf on eBay. Advertised as authentic £ 650 seller located in London UK, no obvious signs to me except that they photographed the scarf lying on the ground (who does that except for shoes?) I didn't pay much for it, and there's a 14 day return policy on the auction, so I'm hoping to have it authenticated, either before closing the deal and sending my payment (48hrs) or within 14 days for a refund. A trip to the Burberry store might be an option, but I'd rather check with you guys here to see if there are any blatantly obvious signs that my novice eyes missed - beyond the usual what the f**k are you doing buying burberry on eBay warning flags. Totally out of character for me and I don't usually bid on easily faked fashion house stuff.

any input or advice would be much appreciated,
Thanks

It's not obvious to judge based on stitching. I went to Kiton store and examined bombers. The stitching was not ideal there either. As I was explained it is done by hand and it can be some differences.

Then take yours to the store and ask them?

I agree with @Wrong Crowd that it looks like a mess, but it's sometimes the case with Neapolitan brands, I know.

What's the Kiton made out of? It kind of looks out of place/ cheap and not what I would expect although mind you my experience with Kiton is very limited. Also that K on the punch out of the collar looks like ****.

Here's a semi similar one but it looks to be machine stitched

As far as the Burberry, that looks like a very simple pattern so you're going to have to do a lot by feel. You're going to need to post a picture of it flat and close ups of the tags but to be honest you'd be much better served to ask the ladies at the purse forum. I trust them with all my Burberry purchases

I think I looked at like 50 Isaia suits just now and could not find another tag like that. I did notice when comparing to the other Nuova Base S Isaia out there that the button stance looked lower.

Sorry @Quesjac IDK

I've seen it at thrifts a few times. Reminds me of the cheaper wannabe collezione brand that try to capitalize on the made in Italy.

For the RLPL jacket they do not even include any pictures of the tags so it would be hard to say
