Yes. I like what I've seen of esef's cuts a lot more, and the denim looks better.

Fine you want commas?

Ande is doing a lot more details like selvage loops, selvage fly, peekaboo selvage, and hidden rivets. I'm not sure that esef has those details.

This is my experience too. I got fantastic service, and awesome jeans for about $130. The quality is fantastic. It's basically Iron Heart denim with a medium cut. I mean I was looking at IH with silver hardware for $400, and then I found skys for less than half as much. Now I'm off to the gym to be able to wear them!

Yes, Esef is a one man business. But unlike Ande, he doesn't make them himself He gets the denim and production done in Japan.

Out of curiosity, how do you guys even considering buying them? Is there a webstore I'm not seeing?

I've checked the blog and seperate clothing site which doesn't list denim. There doesn't appear to be purchase info and the range of cuts is a bit confusing: ori (blog says they are finito), sky, vik, r20, thor? Confusing in the sense that other than the ori and sky all the other cuts seem to be in a permanent state of 'soon to come'.

google is your friend

from what i understand ande doesn't make his own denim anymore. he outsources them. i remember him saying that the pocket bag whatever customizable options can't be done anymore because of this.
