Thanks for the kind words!

Heather gorse is wonderful, just be prepared for a lengthy break-in period. Left to right is dark oak, coffee suede, edwardian, chestnut and heather gorse.

Great, thanks! Now we just need to know which lasts are represented

My idea is to make a battle ship of a winter boot in Heather Gorse and suede (preferably tan shades), as much shearling lining as possible, ridgeway sole and obviously Veldtschoen. I think it would be awesome. Thanks a lot! Soren
My first EGs were (are) a pair of Dovers on the 32 last in heather gorse from Paul Stuart. The last pair on the right...

Very interesting, thanks a lot for your reply! Indeed, I have heard the term Heather Gorse used about EG's zug grain, so this is no doubt the stuff. Do you know which colour(s) they stock? I'm not inclined towards a top drawer per se, I'm just inclined to anything that would make EG consider doing a full shearing lining. So I thought (read: hoped) that the extra payment of the top drawer might make them consider it.

SKM, you are onto something here! I have been holding out for a Galway in Heather Gorse, and a shearling lined shaft sounds great, as do Ridgeway Soles and Veldtschoen construction. Perhaps there are others who would consider such a group order. PM me if you want to try to organize something. Cheers.

I may be in on Alderley as well, but would prefer Rosewood or Mahogany Country Calf on a single Dainite sole.

This is Mahogany Country Calf on Dainite. Indoor/Outdoor pics. We still have stock and free shipping on our EG boots.

Well it is getting more and more difficult to get those 6 magic people to avoid those pesky MTO fees. If you guys decide to order something for your store let us know ahead of time so some of us could piggyback from your orders.
I must admit that I am surprised that you guys do not order any boots from EG or G&G for your shop. I assume that Swedes would be interested those products.

Indeed, and for me, the additional fees are less burdensome than all the work trying to sign people up.

Same here, but I prefer the 82 last (but not a deal breaker).

You can't have Alderley on 82 only 202

I just placed order for Olive Alderley. Was debating between that and the Galway and went with a standard Galway and olive alderley with a forest suede back quarter. Upcharge pretty small to get exactly what you want and no VAT puts pricing cheaper than US rtw pricing

That will be fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing pictures of how that turns out.

You make a valid point. And the fact that the first 6 have to be the same width makes the burden even greater.
