Mind sharing where you are getting SC's for EG prices? I've found EGs for $1100-1200 and on sale for $650 and up.
I almost never see SCs on sale and they're $1600 at LeatherSoul.

I'm not advocating for or against it; rather, I am listing the price as a point of fact. There was previous discussion of EG and SC prices, so I thought a very recent LS-SC offering, and its listed price, was relevant to the issues at hand. Personally the boot does nothing for me, but that's beside the point.

He left to start Zonkey. Their stuff might not be to people's taste on this forum, but they're really nice (some even quite conservative) when you see them in person.

I've never handled Riders in person, so I can't say. Online, I can see the similarities, but there was an appreciable lightness to the Zonkeys, which I thought was similar to my SCs.

More SC than Rider. In both last and construction. Pretty much a mass market value SC. Just another part of the family business (Rollig still has shares in SC and Car is his cousin AFAIK).
