You sound overwhelmed with decisions. Get stuff out of your head and down on paper. Write down all of the open issues you have on your mind, however mundane. Write it down with a pen on a pad of paper - spend 10 minutes - everything you can think of needing to do - commitments, people you need to call, e-mails you need to reply to, student loan debt, groceries you need to buy - everything. It'll calm your anxiety. You need to relax your mind so you can start thinking creatively about what you want to do.
Get Rid of Clutter Around You. Few Things Will Make You Feel More Peaceful and Better than an Organized Living and Work Area.
1)Download Snaptimer http://dan.hersam.com/software/snaptimer/index.html if you run Windows. Find a similar app if you're on OS X
2)Set It for 15 Minutes and spend that 15 minutes ONLY throwing things out or organizing your living area. Don't be distracted during this time, just work on throwing stuff out.
3)If you're going to organize a desk drawer or a dresser drawer, take everything out of the drawer first, throw out what you don't need (if you haven't used it in a year, discard) then put the things you need back in.
4)Once the ringer goes off after 15 minutes, decide if you want to continue and set it for another 15 minutes. Keep working until the bell goes off.
5) Then look at your list of stuff that you wrote down and see if you can complete any of them. If something is too big, write down the next action you can do to move towards completion.
This is should flood your brain with with some good feeling dopamine.
