Can anyone help me find a extremely distressed blazer, preferably in cotton, the kind I'm looking for would look better wrinkled, looks vintage, has lots of detail, like perhaps extra pockets, rectangular military patches, zippers, studs, NO tacky logos or random animal sketches.

Diesel Inga is close...anyone know of anything better?

Thanks,

Farooq

If I was going to do this I would buy a cheap sportcoat from Gap/Old Navy and then spend an hour or so distressing the fabric and seams myself.

Armani exchange would be a good option for a decent pricepoint. I have a deconstructed unline cotton blazer from them in gray which was great, but it got thrown in the wash and got bleached. edit: like this one, decent price for what you get http://www.armaniexchange.com/produc...&sortby=&size=

When I said distressing I didn't mean frayed edges per se, I meant permanant creases, possible fraying but not on the edges, or at least not on all the edges like some cheap guess marciano or whoever the hell designer is there.

G-star normally has a lot of logos and is quite baggy correct? I'm looking for something fitted though, D&G, dsquared, and Juicy are all great ideas, I will look into them. Although my ceiling is $200 so I'm not sure how far I can go with those brands.

Robin - was thinking of doing that, just wanted to see what else was out there

Blueguitar - Deconstructed means it has no padding and no canvas attached to the outershell for shape.

Eason - Thats a nice piece, only thing with the gray is that the distressing will look extremely apparent if I do it myself, and while its only $80 I would want at least a bit more detail not just a blank canvas.

They tend to be ridiculously logoed, but they're anything but baggy. All G Star consistently runs a size small or more. Not everything is logoed, either, and though I generally avoid self promotion, check the selling thread in my sig. Even if there's nothing you want, might be useful for examples.

Thanks Arethusa, looked at your stuff, the blazers weren't exactly what I was looking for, but I looked up some G-star stuff on ebay and there is something there i may bid on. Appreciate the advice.

Keep em comin, this is great.
