Shark Attack - the fit and finish is perfect.
They are just too wild (in a great way)! I wonder if the bootmakers at White's all stand around checking out boots made from unique leathers like this, or if it's just another day at the White's boot factory?? Andy B.

Here are some more pictures, but now with leather laces.

Thanks guys for all the help and advice. I couldn’t be more pleased with my boots, they fit well, they are comfortable, and I think they look rather nice. This thread was a huge help for my choice, as well as, Kyle and the good people at White’s. Thanks all.

I was sort of curious why some of you seem so particular about your boots having exceedingly minor imperfections in the leather? Leather is from cows and cows rub against barbed wire fences, fence posts and trees, they get attacked by wild animals, they sometimes gore each other with their horns etc. I always accept the possibility of minor imperfections. Sometimes I think it adds character to the leather.

Not to flood this thread with photos, but… I haven’t posted any close ups with natural light yet.
So here they are

These are my soft toe SJ's. Seems like the soft toe doesn't get much love. I thought wild land fire fighting boots had to be soft toes? My boots here are 6 years old, and built like a tank. Whites are the best.

They can't have steel toes- dangerous heat absorption. Most have celastic for protection.
