When I first saw a picture of these I fell in love with them. For me they were the ultimate sterling knot cufflinks. I thought they were discontinued, but then they showed up on the website. So I ended up selling off some 'extra' cufflinks I had in order to fund their purchase. I get to break them in tonight at a wedding. My Holy Grail sterling knots:

Base metal with blue enamel stripes (ADSW Antiques and Modernism Show)

Base metal snaps with some nice etching (EBay)

Base metal with green tinted metal underlay (opposite are buttons to release) (EBay)

Finally, this pair I also picked up at the ADSW Antiques and Modernism Show. Orange enamel with a design of what might be a lighthouse. Maybe it's a pagoda. It's hard to tell. I love the orange color--I don't see this often. Actually I'm not sure I ever have.

For awhile there I lost sight of this thread... Some of the recently posted links that I've liked: I like that these are unusual, and the color is terrific!... Base metal with green tinted metal underlay (opposite are buttons to release) (EBay)

Both of these are cool...and unique. I especially like the pair with the Asian theme...They look like refugees from a Mah Jong game (I mean that in a good way). Fun!
