Is there a proper dress shirt collar style and height?
I finally found an online M2M that meets most of my shirt requirements. Before I purchase another 5-10 shirts, I would like to make sure that I am requesting appropriate details.
The shirts they sent so far have what I consider short collars (tips not covered by lapels) similar to below.
However, I think larger collars that are covered look better (as below).
Is one more correct than the other? Please do not say that "style is a choice, do what you want". What I want is to have what is more correct and/or more classic. FWIW, I am an attorney who almost always wears dress shirts, but Seattle is a very informal area and Covid/Zoom made things even less formal. Oval face shape.
