Thanks for the heads up. Just odered the red oak leather. Came up to about 86$ after tax. :slayer:

any time, got mine delivered today as they promised

anyone owns a olive db? is it more green or more grey in real life? endless and need supply has olives but looks different.

kind of a mix of both. some pics make it look REALLY green, some almost like a pale grey. IRL, very much an earth tone grey/green. probably more green that they are grey though. not sure if that helps answer your question at all. i like the neutrality of the color without them being brown (nothing against the beeswax)

Probably closer to need supply, but not nearly as brown looking as they are in the photos. the color is probably best depicted on zappos, though for whatever reason nobody seems to capture the actual color

Just got my Red Oak Leather's. Boy do they run big, at least a half size. But the rise is kinda lower then i'd like so it should balance out.

How would these do in light snow? We're expecting a nor'easter in NYC this weekend.

i like this how much does it cost and can any shoe cobbler do this? my beeswax db's are 4 years old and due for soles soon.

It shouldn't cost more than the price of a new pair. Any qualified shoe cobbler should be able to upgrade your Clarks' db.

You should get soles in the correct size. They do have to match your boot size!

Do you know if the cristy soles are true to size? Considering Clarks db's are one size larger then average it's a bit tricky.

TheBlackDonDraper can you post up any fit pics of the red oak leather boots? I'm interested!

If I bought a Clarks on the UK last, it will correspond to the usual European size. For me, a UK 8 is equivalent to an American 9 and a Euro 42.
