Chunky cardigan suggestions

Looking to invest in a good, chunky cardigan - something that can be worn instead of a suit jacket, over a OCBD, for less formal occasions and keep some warmth during chilly spring days. Looking at the Luca Faloni cashmere cardigan (bonus is that LF have a store locally so I could try it on), and did consider the PS chunky cardigan but it's out of stock and I don't like the concept of getting on a list and hoping someone will agree to take my money sometime in the future. Johnstons of Elgin, otherwise my go-to, don't seem to stock anything chunky for this season.

So I'm taking suggestions: looking for something that will last, cashmere or wool. I'm not interested in buying anything pre-owned, and I prefer to shop within the EU (or UK, since the agreements are in place) - any transaction that involves the local customs office automatically becomes a pain. I'd probably put a limit around 1k$ or so.
