On another note, anyone else somewhat excited for the BRZ?
I kind of want to sell my Lexus and get this for the track.

I go to Willow Springs every couple of months, I only drive my friends E36 though and I certainly don't want to take the Z4. With the BRZ, it should be fun, RWD, 200hp, 1700lbs & Subaru/Toyota parts. It's all for fun though, nothing competitive.

Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota GT-86 is 2700 lbs, but it does look like a very fun car.

Googled it, it is interesting... But I still rather have the Miata. I have no need for a back seat and performance they would probably be close (even though less power). I want to see more vehicle compete with the Miata in price. For now I stick with older classics, just more int resting then the Miata.

The Miatas look is becoming too outdated to me, they need to do what Benz did to the new SLK350, make it a bit more manly. Price-wise, it should be the same (or very close to it) and the BRZ looks so much better. Handling should be very similar to each other, the BRZ/FRS testers/designers had a Cayman and drove it around and based it's handling on it. It will not match the mid-engines feel but it can come very close to the Miata, if not better.

I am truly in love with the this Alfa Romeo Spider Concept looks, if they produce and ship to the US. I will find a way to get it. This is probably the only current roadster that excites me, compared to classics such as Triumph TR6, Spitfire, MGA, MGB, Early Alfa Spiders, etc...

A bit slab sided, the headlights are too small and have too little shape to be considered perfect. Not sure what else I'd choose in that price segment though.
