Can I wear this jacket with black pants without being gay?

I do not know why you equate any jacket with being gay - that is a nonsense. However wearing that jacket should not be allowed full stop. Burn the thing and put it out of its misery.

Its purple. At one point that was a color code for being gay. However, I am getting the sense that sexual orientation aside, its ugly.

The only thing I can imagine uglier than that jacket is that jacket with that red tie and black pants. An exhaustive search of the entire planet would not unearth pants that go with that jacket.

If I were him, I would be less concerned about my masculinity and more concerned about that jacket.

Seeing a purple jacket of any kind reminds me of this, sorry.

I'm not saying I hate it. I'm only saying I, personally, wouldn't know where to go in it.
If anyone can come up with a combo that works, I'd love to see the photos posted.

I'll keep trying. I assume that what the senior members of this forum are really interested in is something new and unexpected that works, and not just seeing the same stuff differently composed. So much of what passes as runway fashion strikes me as truly ugly. But it has to work, and contain that element of aesthetics that is hard to define.

Absolutely wrong. I had much better luck dating women in their 30's when I was 30 than now. I also ran a 6 min mile, and those days a are long gone. I feel 30, for all the good it does.

Actually, I learned that flying to Panama, where there was a Colombia stopover, many years ago. I met a guy on the plane who said he was renting a car to go to this beach town, and whether I wanted to come along. Said fine. Turns out he was gay and trying to pick me up (learned this about 20 miles into the trip). It was OK, he learned I was not interested, but I did get about a two hour education on gay culture, including the thing about purple shoe laces. We also made a couple of stops at bus stations so he could check out the bathrooms.
