Thanks for the reply. That's what I figured. But it was weird to have it happen twice at once when I can't remember it happening before.

This buyer purchased a pair of bally shoes which were described that they needed to be resoled and there were clear photos of the inside of the shoes.

Dear weso0119,
I bought this pair og shoes from you but is very unsatisfy with this deal. I really don't believe this is worth $42.86. If you are willing to credit my account at least $20, I would have no alternative but to return it. Please call me at (763) 221-7878 to discuss further.
Thanks!

Dear jhwillis,

Wes
Dear weso0119,
I did mentioned that it is not worht the $42.86 with the toes about to come apart and the inside is not up tp par. I need a credit to my account or return!

Dear jhwillis,
I'm sorry, I missed the part of your first message where you described the damages.
Since the condition of the interior is clearly photographed, and the listing indicated that the soles needed to be replaced, I will be unable to issue you a partial refund at this time. Had there been some other damage not shown or mentioned in the listing, I may have been able to work something out. It appears that we will not be able to meet an agreement on that aspect, so please feel free to return them for a refund.
You may return them to me at the following address,

WTF!

Thank You Cap!!!Yes shell. The AE color is cognac

Be very careful using that spreadsheet. There have been at least two or three incorrect AE numbers on that one. Brianpore and I have both been burned. The best bet is to search the back issues of the AE catalogs on issuu.com.
I do have a revised version of the shell list that I have been using and updating for about 18 months. I have deleted the incorrect numbers and have also added some that were missing. When I get home I will post it again.
The AEs are definitely shell. 2193 is the code for that model.
Yes, that was my clue.^
1. I think so, but hard to tell for sure. That's not a standard color for AE shell, but they could be faded burgundy or special ordered. 80% sure yes they are shell. Do they have a dovetail heel?
2. You mean the color oxblood, right? Then yeah, I guess so - don't think there's a technical definition fo the color.

Or he could just use the address I sent him to find me.I would care, changing his mind that quick means he is probably Bi-Polar. could get his NSA friends to track you down
Is there some kind of seller scam I'm not aware of? ...
Neg feedback them.....
No scam. Just scum bags lying and misrepresenting what they sell. ....
Giddy like a schoolgirl to finally upgrade from my 2005 Razr to a proper smart phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 Active) - now I can hit up eBay completed / Google when I have a [shirt/coat/jeans/etc] in my hand at the thrift store and am wondering to myself "Is this a something, or a nothing?" Probably save me $30 - $40 per month in regrettable purchases and pay for itself over time.
Do folks here do a lot of web searches when in the field, or just go with what you know and leave the questionable stuff behind?
This!Re: all this talk. Let's give these guys some possible benefit of the doubt. When I list more than usual, I start making stupid mistakes. Recall that I'ma normal person so I don'tnot cool enough to own a Mac, so my method is taking a previous listing for a similar item and then modfiying it. I have on occasion genuinely forgotten to change "NWOT" or "NWT" to "Pre-owned." Mostly this was before there was the text box for describing condition, but still. It happens to me ALL the time with sizing. I skip right to uploading pictures, get distracted, then go to the description and totally forget to fill out all that info in between. I've even forgotten to change the title. So it's possible the seller is a DB, but it's also possible it was an honest mistake. But if you got your money back, who cares?
