Except that Josh Gibson apparently made exactly the same sound. Not bad company to travel in, either way.

Bo Jackson and Deion are the only two guys to have run sub-4.2 at the Combine, and those are pretty much the only "official" numbers for the NFL since everything else is hand-timed. Also, don't forget that Bo was the start sprinter for Auburn's track team.

Sports Illustrated did one of those "Where Are They Now?" pieces on him a while back, and I think he's in real estate. He's put on some weight, but he's still pretty muscular. Seemed like he was doing well financially. I'm pretty sure he's living in Alabama again.

Are his baseball cards worth anything? I think I have his fleer rookie card somewhere, and probably a handful of others.

The ESPN SportsCentury episode on Bo Jackson made me cry. So much potential unfulfilled, and Bo never has a hint of regret or anger in his voice.

Here is a great highlight video. Mainly college football, but it includes Bo throwing out Harold Reynolds from the warning track with a flat-footed throw that hits the catcher on the fly (2:59) and Bo's famous TD run against the Seahawks in which he runs into the tunnel after scoring (4:03).
