Hi all

I recently ordered a MTM black & white tweed sports coat with the chaps at The Anthology, in the below fabric:

Pic attached of another jacket of theirs in the same fabric.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what might go well with the jacket? I tend to dress very casually....think Engineered Garments, Beams Plus...

Thanks in advance,
MR G

If you’re looking for casual: Blue jeans would work for sure (IMO at least, obviously some folks aren't a fan of jeans with tailoring). Tan chinos too. Corduroy always looks at home with tweed to me but depends on the cut and shade.

I’d aim to make sure your pants are relatively full leg/high waist, which helps make casual trousers look more coherent with casual tailoring.

Thanks. I think I will pair with denim on the whole. I should have added to my original post but I’m mostly wondering what might work up top, underneath the jacket.

A maroon shirt or sweater would look better than the yellow. Any standard office shirt also would work.
