Here's a pair of mine [non C&J] that fits the bill. Looks familiar?

UNIFORM LA Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Japanese BDU Camo Cargo Pants are now live. These cargos are based off vintage US Army BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) cargos. They're made of a premium 13.5-ounce Japanese twill that has been sulfur dyed for a vintage look. Every detail has been carried over from the inspiration and elevated. Available in two colorways, tundra and woodland. Please find them here
Good luck!.

Crockett & Jones Aintree:
In a mid-priced RTW shoe for the dual purpose that you describe, I would go with a three eyelet derby in a sleeker last, such as a Crockett & Jones Aintree:
Brooks Brothers has a Pebble Grain Long Wing which I feel is a nice balance. I never see it online but I see it in some of the stores.

I like these shoes, but there a little out of the range I'd like to spend.
Label King would say chelsea boots, and while I don't have any and probably never well, I have to say, they are probably ideal for the use you want to make of them.
I can't put my finger on it, but there's something extra-appealing about these to me.
Funny. I was going to comment that those are some extra-ugly shoes.
As someone mentioned earlier, can anyone suggest any makers that sell 'nicely' styled shoes at a price point under 200? I've only been able to find Magnanni, but there is little info about them on the board...
