Goto Berluti.com and watch their polishing video!

It's amazing (not necessarily in polishing content, but rather, is incredbily whimsical in a very french way)! Apparently, shoes like it if you listen to Mozart while polishing!!!

So weird.

They actually recommend applying waterproof polish on the shoes before using shoe polish on the shoes. Haven't done that before. And they even dropped water on the shoes after they are water proofed so the shoes can be hydrated. Erm, isn't the shoes water proofed already so it can avoid water.

They also recommend applying shoe polish vigorously on the creases to get rid of it. Dont think that would work seriously.

And we don't get to see Olga's face after the polishing. Maybe her face would show polishing shoes isn't as sensual as she said it would be? Mmm.

Neh,....that's just you......LOL!

Neutral polish (or clear polish) has a higher solvent content than tinted wax, thus removing polish when its applied. Granted, it doesn't work as well as purpose-made conditioners in removing wax, but it removes enough to make it worthwhile.

Neutral polish does remove earlier layers of polish on the shoe and on certain type of leather finishing would also remove the finish & antiquing. A shoe care card that comes with the Santoni shoes specifically advises against using neutral polish on Santoni shoes.
