The AFR had an offer in from Charles Tyrwhitt yesterday on shirts some people are not fans but the price point plus free delivery make them a good option for those less fiscally endowed. I still have a few I bought a few years ago which are in rotation and their oxford cloth are good for weekend winter casual wear.

When I checked this out it comes up a shipping price, are you sure about the free shipping?

Hi gents,

Was going to buy this on the SF marketplace but thought I'd give Aus Members the first pick:

38S Suit Supply Linen SC - $150

https://www.dropbox.com/s/1etihqwzfjyqtzr/DSC01668 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/8913joieihbc9ak/DSC01671 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3rv7x81w11o5dq5/DSC01682 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

No alterations, vents and pockets still closed. Slight structured shoulder - not unstructured like their havana jackets - I'm a 38S but need the sleeves up about half an inch normally - the sleeves on these are between a S/R and any alterations I'd have to do would be from the shoulder, so time for someone else to rock it.

6UK Meermin Penny Loafers Brown Suede - $100

https://www.dropbox.com/s/3xp0u6hwedeti31/DSC01687 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/t9atjm12ab8zpps/DSC01685 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/6049rb65uiaugcq/DSC01684 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

Worn probably half a dozen times (hence heel wear - pictured), and half a size too big for me. I'm normally a 6UK but to rock sexy ankles (hi fxh) I'll have to be a 5.5UK :(

34R (hemmed to my inseam ~70cm but will confirm) Suit Supply VBC flannel trousers - $70

https://www.dropbox.com/s/lwa2da1eaahjg1w/DSC01675 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/49svcjhi2np2s6e/DSC01677 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/s/rhxcaz5wqpuxk8h/DSC01679 (Custom).JPG?dl=0

34R (hemmed to my inseam ~70cm but will confirm) white O&J chinos - $50

(no pics but can easily get some)

Let me know if anybody is keen before I put these on the classifieds.

Cheers,

Alex

Hi Alex
Interested in the sportscoat. Could you give me measurements for shoulder to shoulder, and sleevelengths please?

Regards
Peter

Speaking of Menswear consumption related topics, has anyone ever bought Cigars online, and know a reputable retailer?

I've used Puro Express before. I got charged duty on one box which was around $200 on top of what you pay for the cigars, and the tariff has definitely increased since then. Bought a smaller five pack another time and paid no duty. The cigars came in ziplock bags with a humidipack. Would use Puro Express again.

For PoP - I really think a button down OC would have been a better choice

Do You Consider Sustainability When Purchasing Clothes?

  • Always - Sustainability is a top priority in all my clothing purchases.

  • Often - I frequently consider sustainability, but it isn't the main factor in my decisions.

  • Rarely - I seldom consider sustainability when purchasing clothes.

  • Never - Sustainability is not a factor I consider in my clothing choices.
