UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

To be fair to Pete thats the look he was sporting in the early 70s. That pic was probably around 1990. He'd be around 70 now and is not well. No quinoa back in those days. In person he was ok.Nailed. Just look at Steedman's fit in the photo accompanying the article - Every aspect of this image, clothing included, is coldly calculated to impart a message. Longish hair, pointy sideburns: counter-culture, "youthful". Sloppy windcheater, no doubt with carefully selected "Budapest Free Jazz Co-op" logo: hep, man. Sharply tailored designer jeans. Locally-produced RMWs (hilariously enough, also strongly favoured by both Tony Abbott and Kevin Rudd, for the same reason: showing solidarity with Working Aussie Battlers, yeah, right). Arse on the chair-back, feet on the seat, because hey - he doesn't respect The Establishment (i.e. mainstream political parties). Oh, and of course: strategic positioning in front of a row of Indigenous Songlines posters. Utterly on song for his target voter demographic: sandal-wearing, quinoa-munching nimbies nursing a guilt complex about being white. "What dress code" indeed. Mr Mannheim could hardly have picked a less appropriate visual punchline for his ineptly assembled grab bag of clichéd anti-sartorial fulminations.
ha so you knew him too! {wink}Fantastic response to the navy trousers question.
PS: As for Steedman, his target audience was himself. Whether it was what he wore, said or where he turned up, it was all pretty much in the service of his own ego.
^ Also, if you are a practical man, and you are of a mind to have a bespoke onesie made, surely you would specify a flap at the back..?
Hey Australian friends, I'm currently in Berlin and I was wondering what kind of fashion stands out. Already hit up uniqlo successfully. Stepped into Barbour, took one look at the price tag and then backed out slowly (beautiful jackets though). I'm mostly looking for jackets!
Other recommendations also welcome!
An Internet high five to anyone who can tell me a place in sydney conservative business dress that stocks either sea gull or mondaine watches
Would likely be keen!Heads up.

Chime in if you're keen.
Looks good, I am heading to Tokyo in November as well, may I ask what the prices were like?Quote:
Recently read a post by Simon Crompton (Permanent Style) about wearing odd jackets and trousers where he stated navy wool pants suffer most from 'one half of a suit' syndrome. Does make it a little bit challenging in my mind.
________
Got around to taking some pictures of the linen jacket I bought from Ring Jacket while in Tokyo.
If I look upset it's because I'm missing Tokyo. You'll also notice the rolled cuffs ... forgot I was wearing a Uniqlo shirt when I left the house (sleeves on Japanese shirts are always too short for me).
More pics and a quick review here
Would likely be keen!
Heads up.
