So heres the final product of my first bespoke suit by Charles Maimone. Accepting critiques for my refference for future suits. Pants i know are a tad long, might get them adjusted so they dont crumple as much down the bottom but they do ride up quite high already when i sit down. Suits actually a dark navy, colour doesnt photograph well unless in sunlight by the looks of it. Heres a link from my insta to see the actual colour https://www.instagram.com/p/BCcT9XsIL6l/?taken-by=beor_ong
Hard to critique fit in those stances but looks pretty good in those pics. More importantly though you happy with it?
thanks for the tip, i havent actually smelled any of these yet. Just based on bunch of high reviews i decided to jump into the deep end and get one and at least get a sample of the others to see if any of them were less and more my kind of fragrance.
how would u rate the ones i got from tauer in your opinion, and is there another cologne you would rate higher? Been looking for a cologne that has a nice strong projection that lasts longer than an hour.
Been using an armani which is just about out, hence my purchase of andy tauer after seeing a mention of it, and ive used a CK in the past, but i found the scent is all but gone in the better part of 2 hours.
I like your enthusiasm but I wouldn't necessarily have dived in and purchased a bottle without sampling. LDDM is good, I like it particularly in cooler weather but its not an easy or universally loved scent. Same for all of them. LDDM will definitely solve the longevity issue though
There's a whole universe of niche fragrances out there. By niche I mean anything you don't find in Myers and Chemist warehouse and even in Australia for a lot of them. Finding a scent that you like and that suits you and compliments you just like a good accessory, can take time. Just got to get out there sampling everything you can. Once you've got a bit of breadth under your belt and know the sort of scents and notes you like then you can blind buy bottles (although even then still not really recommended) either way drop into places like Mens Biz, Peony, even DJ's in most conservative business dress's have some "niche" houses.
You don't seem to be bothered by order online theres plenty of sample websites out there and there. Or maybe you'll get lucky and those tauers will be your perfect match.
