I guess I'll be the one to poast this. It's a $147 "audio grade" power outlet:

They're not the first ones to do it, as PS Audio also has their version of it, but their most expensive version is $100, and is even gold plated! Unfortunately, it isn't labeled "audio grade", so your wife might plug a vacuum cleaner into it.

I'm not sure you get any better performance than a generic $50 Hubbell hospital grade outlet.

If your income was not over the threshold, yes, you could receive tax credits. As it is though, 90% tax for you!

I'm pretty sure you won't. It isn't big enough to have an inbuilt isolation transformer. There are some very expensive "audiophile" amplifiers and speakers on the market that sound great, but plugging your Sony / Denon / whatever together with $50 gold plated RCA cables is not going to make your CDs and MP3s sound any better, nor is a gold plated power outlet. Noise from the power lines is real, but to get rid of it you will need the aforementioned isolation transformer, and / or to hire an electrician to install dedicated circuits and make sure your house is grounded properly.

Truth be told, this thing is for small-timers. Real audiophiles have audio-grade fusion reactors running on Teflon-coated hydrogen.

Doesn't the teflon make it harder for the protons to stick together and form Helium? I don't get it.
