I had a pair of burgundy shoes for a while. They were nothing special (some leather soled but corrected grain bostonian captoes) but I just couldn't feel comfortable in them and eventually donated them.
Maybe if I were 15 years older...but I just couldn't get down with the burgundy in most situations. Maybe something like some wingtips for more casual wear but the captoes with pressed pants were not doing it for me.
