Another question about correcting collar gap or neck posture on a jacket

Any tips on correcting the ~3/8" gap at the rear collar of this otherwise well fitting tweed jacket? It seems like the neck slope/posture needs to be adjusted. Is it something a decent tailor could diagnose and fix? Or am I screwed? For what it's worth, it's a M2M Holland & Sherry jacket from Divij Bespoke (Hemrajani) so I assume there's some extra fabric in reserve, wherever possible, but I'm not sure if that even matters in this particular case. There is no collar gap on the sides, only the back. I'd love some advice or tips from anyone with some expertise in this area. Thank you!

I am not a tailor but the obvious question is what did Divij Bespoke recommend when you pointed this out to them?

I would reach out to them and see what they say. They get very good reviews here.

Yeah, I thought it might be annoying to bring back something I ordered so long ago to ask for a fix on something I didn't notice back then but maybe they'd be ok with it. Thinking about it, it was actually 7-8 years ago.

It's not like you're asking them to pay for it necessarily. I'd suggest that you simply tell them that you like the jacket, but that you've noticed this issue recently since you've become more attuned to how your clothes fit, and you'd like their opinion on how best to have it corrected.

He said that the collar could be shortened by a tailor or it could be pinched, which is an adjustment most tailors won't make. Does shortening make the collar stand lower, thus exposing more shirt collar? Or is shortening a term for something else? I am not completely familiar with this alteration. Cosmetically, I don't want the collar to be smaller or shorter, I just want it to angle forward more so it is hugging the shirt collar. He also said that the gap is fairly minimal; however, it does stand out to me. Reading forums like this one has caused me to believe that a gap like this is somewhat of a fail. It definitely doesn't look as clean as I'd like it to.
