No, but I just saw a pair of JL shoes in a consignment store that nearly knocked me over. They were tan norwegian-style bluchers with heavy white contrast stitching and thick, lugged soles in a material that looked like vibram. I checked the sock liner three times to make sure they really said "John Lobb". Egad!!

Interesting -- I never would have imagined you could choose your own style of dress shoe to go with your military uniform. Are there any specific parameters, besides their being black?

The boots are technically illegal (not laced, not low-quarter), but won't be enforced at my paygrade. The official regs say:

"Plain toed, oxford style black, brown, or white, low quarter, lace shoe, made of smooth leather or synthetic leather. The heel shall be an outside heel 3/4 inch - 7/8 inch high with a flat sole."
