Alterations on Chinos helpz (pics included)

Recently I had my UVC's altered in order to attain a slimmer leg. The tailor basically cut the seam on the inside of the pants and re-stitched them without the double stitching that's apparent on the outside. Now they came out looking aesthetically clean and fitting pretty great in the legs, but I believe the butt area now has a slight sag since I was able to fill it prior.

I was planning on altering another pair of Chinos in a similar manner and wanted some suggestions of what to ask the tailor to do so the butt doesn't get a sag, or if I should get the same double stitching on the inside leg that's on the outter seam for consistency's sake... even though I think I'm content with how mine turned out, I thought I'd get some input here.

They look good from the front but there seems to be a lot of break in the leg. You might consider getting the legs shortened a little as well.

I wouldn't worry about the seam - it looks better as is in my opinion.

Without seeing the back it's hard to say what's causing the sag. Reducing the back rise cures a lot of sagging issues but they look pretty low rise from the front . I'd suggest going to a good alterations tailor and just asking them to reduce the sagging in the seat. Tailors do this sort of thing all the time. It's a common alteration - you shouldn't have to explain if the tailor knows what he's doing. A good tailor will be able to diagnose the problem on the spot and tell you the best way to address it.

They look good as is. Tailors are always looking for shortcuts. Looks like he only altered partially up the leg too. My tailor tried this once but I pay him a little extra to make sure he take the seam all the way up to the crotch.

I think they look fine, you could make them about an inch or so shorter but thats up to you

Thanks a lot for the input, bc I was really curious about the alterations overall appeal. And to the above comment, I think my tailor did take up all the way to the crotch, hence somehow creating a slight butt sag.

Now I had one quick follow up. I don't have a pic of the back to share, but I do get a lot of breaking around the back seat and down. Granted, it may look cool at times and is perhaps how UVC's are supposed to look, I wouldn't mind reducing it for the next pair. Is that possible, or inevitable since the pants are close to my legs in terms of the fitting.

Small timer, BoO boat shoes tie themselves.

Good fit on the khaki mate.

RRL Officer's chino is cut similar to that + awesomest details.
