This happened to me recently - rashes just started appearing - hadn't changed brands or anything odd. I switched to a gel for a week or two, the irritation went away, and now I'm back to my stick and it's working fine.

For reference, my normal brand is Mitchum smart solid, and the gel was Mitchum gel - both antiperspirants.

I like using Tom's cucumber-grapefruit. I started getting really allergic to the gillette xxx gels. Skin under the armpit got hard and crusty. I swapped to natural brands like Tom's and Jason's and haven't looked back.

I had this happen to me over the summer. Except I developed a huge rash that itched terribly. I didn't switch deodorants or anything out of the ordinary. Also, it only happened under one arm.
I just stopped wearing deodorant for a while and the rash gradually got smaller.

After trying literally dozens of deodorants, I've used the crystal for more than 10 years with no issues. Unfortunately, it's not as effective, but at least I don't have uncomfortable rash to deal with. Trimming 'pit hair helps, and if I'm worried about it I'll do a quick wash with a washcloth and reapply.

I am really picky about deodorant, some gives me a slight rash and some mixes weird with my chemistry and just smells odd on me... i finally ended up using Sure unscented and its been treating me well for several years now. Not the solid white but the softer kind that pops up through the perforated top... all you need is 2 quick clicks. It may not seem like enough but its perfect. It doesnt have a scent but you can still smell your soap slightly by the end of the day... i think its better than masking with the harsh scents on everything else. You should give it a shot.
