I'm currently in Dubai working. I think not all of them are treated like this. There are still some nice local around too. Same goes to some other countries who treats foreigners badly too.
I think perhaps it depends on how developed your country is as well. I'm from Singapore and i don't tink any local people show any difference to me.

I am excited for the day when Dubai is just a pile of sand, as it should be.

Here's what I've been able to gather so far of their social hierarchy (from highest valued people to lowest valued)

--Upper Class---
Emirate Arabs
British
Other EU citizens
---Lower-Middle Class---
Non-Emirate Arabs (e.g. Lebanese)
Former Soviet country citizens (e.g. Uzbek's)
Pakistani People*
---Lower Class---
Indians (South Indians are considered the lowest)
Phillipino's

* I'm told by an Indian who used to live there that Pakistani's are given slightly more status in society for some reason. I told him I never encountered any Pakistani's in my travels, even though I always asked the people at the stores, hotels, taxi drivers, etc. if they were Pakistani. He responded that Indians get those types of jobs, Pakistani's usually get office jobs. Other people have also told me that Pakistani's usually aren't brought in for jobs like manual labour, bellhops, etc because they tend to be more opinionated on how to do everything. They'll do what they're told, but not before arguing, whereas Indians and Phillipinos tend to be more submissive.

Perhaps someone can elaborate, expand, or clarify?

Where do Hasidic Jews fit in their social hierarchy?

Seriously, Israelis - or even those who have an Israeli entry stamp in their passport- are prohibited from entering most Arab countries. I am not sure whether that applies to Jews across the board or only to Israeli citizens.

there are almost no jews in these countries. 50 years ago, there were a lot. various "pressures" have been applied to get them out. western jews live and work there, but don't have anyplace to worship.

how many Israeli terrorist group do you know? imagine how harder [even] to enter Israel if you have passport/visa/stamped entry from countries on their long ass shitlist.

iirc, there an incident a couple of months ago regarding Israeli tennis players participating in the Dubai Open(?) who were not given entry visas.

i was in DBX last Oct. 'need know your terminal before you leave for the airport cuz the other terminal [ other than the Emirates ] is on the opposite side of the airport.. and you need to take a taxi cuz they don't even have a shuttle from terminal to terminal.

Dubai's incredible tho', infrastructure-wise__ 6 out of 10 buildings along Jumeirah are under construction__ Burj Dubai, Burj al-Arab, Palmeira, Ski Dubai, MoD, etc. it's like a ginormous theme park.

But without a doubt I've seen Philipinos and indians treated like **** around here.

been to the marina @Al Jumeirah__ never seen so much white folks__ a veritable white ppl's oasis. imo, descrimination is not on the color of the skin, but more on what you do__ North American and EU's are on the top of the food chain, while Hindu/Pakistani laborers are the bottom feeders__ tho' there are some Indians/Pakistanis that have been entrenched there for a long time and have their own businesses. unlike, most countries were they have an immigration policy installed__ at present set up, you can stay and work there forever, but will never ever achieve citizenship.
