Someone has started looking through a list of Texas singer/songwriters. Hadn't considered that possibility.

OKAY PEOPLE:

Jon Bon Jovi is actually Jon Bongiovi. Two names, but he chopped them into three so people wouldn't butcher it when pronouncing it - (bongi-what-y?) I knew this back when they were playing "Runaway".

This thread sucks.
being vetoed by someone who doesn't know what the hell he's talking about?

Is like hanging out with Dubya.

And for the record, Harry Dean Stanton has been a major character in several movies. More than Richard Dean Anderson, for sure.

OK TOKYO SLIM I GET IT.

I've bruised your delicate feelings. No need to resort to such hostility - comparing me with Dubya is like kicking my dog.

I'm sorry I slighted your role model/hero Harry Dean Stanton. I apologize to Harry Dean Stanton, to you, and to America for overlooking his genius.

John Phillips Sousa!

Jean Claude Van Damme (Van is a surname according to your rules, Timecop for God's sake.)

I'm not reading thru all the posts, so DQ this if it's a repeat, but any man who's seen Scarface would have to include Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio.
