I will consider all thrift fits posted prior to next Wednesday night. Winner will receive the nicest shirt I have in my backstock inventory in his size (there are a lot of shirts there, and all should be worthy additions to your wardrobe).

The rules? Post your thrift fits and I will pick my favorite. I encourage diversity (and sandals).

2nd place... I love tweed, especially caps.

Harris Tweed x L.L. Bean Cap

And the grand prize winner... I've never worn a robe or pajamas, but I love this. I don't know why... Different age? I was talking to a lady in a Goodwill yesterday who said she was looking for pajamas for her husband. Different age... Way to rock it, 330CK!

Onto the next one!

Guys who are pulling Assos and other crazy cycling gear: how the hell do you find this stuff? Is this being pulled from true thrift stores? I have found exactly one jersey in 4 years doing this (XXXL Lampre, yes I kopped because of Lampre man). I would kill to find anything Assos, my cycling gear is seriously worn out.

You could also test them via density. Weigh them on a scale, then determine volume by dunking them in water in a gaduated cylinder. I forget the exact equations, but you can find them line certainly. this will give you the density of your object. Compare that to density of gold (again, online) and you can tell if they are gold or not.

Nataku: I had someone reverse a credit charge last year (when my wife and kid were in the hspital). Much less $$. No SIG conf. Paypal still took care of it.

A couple of small finds from yesterday-

This baller dinner jacket. I wish it were my size. Tentatively dibsed.

And this tie- the lady said 'these Ralph Lauren ties are a dime a dozen. I think it's polyester anyways- how about a dollar?'
