oh - you mean those kind of labels

In general, I'll pick up any of those labels you listed if it fits well in the shoulders (for shirts and suits), the waist (for pants) and if I like the pattern (for ties).

For now, I'm just going for fit, so if it doesn't have a good fit, I'll pass.

Orvis and Thomas Pink are among the easiest to flip, depending on the color and pattern.

The one I skip on most is Eton... I've yet to find anything worth my time or worth wearing.

Funny, my experience has been the opposite.  I've flipped Eton for $40 easy but have had Orvis sit and sell low.

I also pass on Bill's Khakis M1P

In addition to the Police box set, here are my finds for this week. Being new to this, I'm not sure of the authenticity of the Bruberrys and Bosses. Comments would be greatly appreciated.

Burberry London gingham shirt - $5.50

Seems fairly recent and unworn. My first gingham. Alteration: waist taken in.

Burberry London Necktie - $1.00

A bit wider than I like, but what the heck. One dollar.

Boss Necktie - $2.00

Nice peach/apricot color. I like.

Boss Necktie - $2.00

A bit on the thin side. This is the one I have questions about its authenticity because the Boss logo loop is skewed (i.e. not sewn on evenly). Maybe it was deconstructed to make the tie thinner?

Burberry London dress - $8.00

Can't forget the kids. For the daughter.

Thanks. Now that you mention it, that label has a different font than the others.

I commend you for putting so much time and effort into your photos. However, you might want to consider this - if I were a potential buyer, seeing another person wearing the item I was about to buy would be a negative for me, especially a dress shirt. I would have to assume that when time, energy and productivity are factored in - the net result of that process would be negative.

Given that he's having alterations done to the items, I'm assuming he's buying for himself at this point.

Yes, that's correct. Buying for myself, so my first criteria is fit.

However, I've been severely tempted to pick up stuff to flip or at least to trade. I've passed over Canali mainline and BBGF suits, Robert Talbott BOC ties, and Kiton (in Cleveland!).facepalm.gif I know I'm going to break down soon and buy for trade eventually.

Shoot, I was dreaming our house was invaded by this raccoon/ferret alien thingy stealing our cat food through the vents. I dreamt that I ran into it, jumped on the bed, trying to make myself as big as possible, and trying to scream...But all I did was moan in my sleep. The wifey had to wake me up cuz I was having a bad dream. smile.gif
